I only really use it for reblogging to my main account, baconmane.tumblr.com, ‘cause i’m too lazy to install missing e, and as a way to quickly grab certain documents (like the something broke lyrics, or my OC’s vector)

Donate $50, you get an acoustic cover of any song you want (regardless of how embarrassing, so long as it’s less than 6 minutes in length)

Donate $100, you get a cover of any song in any genre, limit 6 minutes in length, or an acoustic original

Donate $150, You get an original, fully mastered, any style you want, limit 6 minutes in length, about whatever you want - we can discuss it, and I’ll keep in touch with you on it.

Donate $200 - Original, fully mastered, any style, but the max length goes up to 10 (please, if you’re gonna do this, be serious about it - I’m not gonna be able to write a 10 minute song about masturbatio-wait, no nevermind - but seriously, I’m no musical genius xD I can only write so much on certain topics for so long before the muse is dead)

I can’t promise when these songs will be done, but it’ll be on a first come, first serve basis, and as soon as i hit my limit, I’m not gonna do any more. However, if you do end up donating enough to hit one of those tiers, you have every right to keep in contact with me about your songs, to make sure the progress and such.

In order to motivate me to do them, I will be publicly putting the names and the styles/genres of the songs in a list on one or more of my pages. I’ll announce when each are done in turn, and let each individual know when i’ve started their song, and when I’ve finished it.

Once the song is done, it’s up to the person who donated what happens to it - I own the rights to the original material, but whether or not it gets posted anywhere is up to the commissioner. Covers won’t be posted on youtube due to the monotization restrictions, but will be posted on soundcloud and my blog and be available for free download.

I hope to have raised enough money by october 19th. That being said, the sooner the better, because it means being able to put out this album in a timelier fashion.

actually idk the chords exactly xD the whole song, both electric, acoustic, and bass are all played in Open C (probably my favorite tuning, since it’s the only tuning where I don’t completely despise the g/4th string) - that’s from the bottom C G C G C E

i believe the fretting for those chords at the end were, in order of appearance:

G - x 0 7 0 7 7
Gsus2 - x 0 7 0 7 5
Gsus4 - x 0 7 0 7 8
Fadd9/G - x 0 5 0 5 3
C/G - x 0 4 0 4 3

Besides that, the whole song is all massive power chords (since when you barre the whole neck, the bottom 5 strings are just two power chords nicely stacked up on each other)

I decided i didn’t mind the overdriven, gravelly voice of the verse (since i’d probably make it harsh anyway), and my mixing is usually shit anyway, so people can kiss my ass about the levels. I’m planning on rerecording it in the studio anyway, so i’m just gonna list it as a demo.

the entire song as it’s been so far released is just over 20 minutes long. However, I released it as an EP on bandcamp, where I separated it into the 12 segments (Let’s Begin, All Is Normal, Cloudsdale, Awakening, Party Of One, The Final Straw, Late Night Accident, Hide The Body, Perfect Crime, Now You Take A Nap/Helping Hoof, Cupcakes, All Seems Normal), which range from 1 to 5 minutes.

The most notable part is part VIII, Hide The Body, which is the 4 minute orchestral bit that most people associate with the song, and that could be what you keep finding. Otherwise, the song itself is 20 minutes long (though the redux i’m working on is leaning towards 30-35)
